Mission: Faithist, vegetarian, pacifist

From www.ic.org/directory/2bd-termined/:

The purpose of this community will be to provide a way for people to live wholesome, productive, sustainable lives. A cooperative lifestyle can do this - I've seen it - living in a way that reduces the illusion of separateness - from the spirit, from the earth and from each other. To this end, I would like to establish a community of people with faith in The One Great Spirit, who are vegan/vegetarian and who are pacifists (interdependent, no?) I've been saving for this for many years and have purchased 5.5 acres of bottom land with a beautiful creek about 5 miles from Columbia, a semi-progressive college town in central Missouri. I've invested just about my entire retirement savings in this and would expect a similar investment from anyone who wishes to join.

If you meet the three criteria and are ready to begin the adventure, contact me. I'll serve as a message center until/if we need an email list or web site. Contact information on my web site (www.centralmissourigrainsforfood.com).

Update: Building a barn, trying to establish gardens and native tree orchards.

Update: I found a great book on communities: Diana Leafe Christian's "Creating a Life Together". This book covers well all of the issues encountered in forming a community.
