Mission: spirituality service sustainability

From www.ic.org/directory/st-isidore-community/:

Isidore the Laborer (1070-1130), was a beloved Christian saint, known for his love to the poor and to the animals. He is considered the patron saint of farmers, day laborers, and rural communities. Our goal at St Isidore is to live together in community, supporting each other along life's journey, finding ways we can serve and help others in need. Ideally we would share several meals together throughout the week, and have a little bit of time each day for daily prayer. We would like to start by buying a house in the city of Battle Creek, Michigan, with enough yard space to do some organic gardening.

As of February, 2016, we are still looking for interested individuals. It would be great if we could get going either in 2017 or 2018.

Please call or e-mail if you might be interested in joining. We look forward to hearing from you! You also might want to consider joining the Meet-up Group: http://www.meetup.com/Battle-Creek-Intentional-Community-St-Isidore/
